Incredibly Rare Michigan Greenstone Ring ~ Size 8

Michigan Greenstone a.k.a Chlorastrolite comes from Isle Royale in Lake Superior. Now a National Park, it is highly illegal and prohibited to pick through the basalt for this incredibly beautiful Greenstone. There are a few locations still that people are able to pick through basalt piles to find it, but the good good stuff like this only comes around once in a blue moon. It is incredibly expensive and typically the average size stone is the size of a pea. This stone is actually pretty large for Greenstone.   Set in a sterling bezel atop a stout and sturdy hand cut size 8 wide band.
