Down River Jasper was found long ago, on private property, up above the Snake River on the Washington side. It hasn’t been until recently that it has made it’s appearance in the lapidary/silversmithing world. There isn’t much out there, as I had to search the bowels of the internet to find this stunning stuff. I’ve been kind of a hoarder with the good variety, and decided this beauty deserved to be in the hands of someone else. I used 4 solid and brass prongs, 2 sterling silver prongs, sterling silver backplate and argentium silver on this crazy cool pendant. There is Down River Jasper, and then there is THIS Down River Jasper. Reminds me of mangroves, or scenes from Game of Thrones or the Hobbit! Wild stuff! Pendant is just over 1.25″ tall from tip of handmade bail to bottom and is strung on an 18″ sterling silver box chain.
