Nicole Pritzker of Niko Beth Jewelry made this beautiful Calypso Variscite necklace. Hanging on an 19" sterling silver rolo chain, this Calypso cab (that I happened to cut) has that old school darker blue matrix. Nicole lives in Southern California with her boyfriend Jonathan. Nicole grew up in Boston, Mass, moved to Chicago, Illinois at 19 years old and in 2014 she took some introductory silversmithing courses at Lillstreet Art Center. She then decided to move to Southern California and took some more classes. Then in 2018 she built a studio in her garage. Nicole and I met at a flea market type thing in Venice Beach when we were down there for a weekend. As I rolled up to her table, she recognized my necklace, which was made by Mandi Mae Black, which was SO COOL to me. Silversmiths can recognize other smiths styles!
