This abalone shell was so fun to make. Starting from just a sheet of silver and sterling silver wire, I hand forged it from start to finish. Carved by hand with many bits and burs, adding two natural round brilliant diamonds and a light blue Montana sapphire, this one of a kind abalone shell resembles a love for the ocean. Wear it on your neck, or hang it from your rearview mirror, it is an eye-catching piece! Melting and carving something from scratch to a finished life-like object in silver takes a lot of studying of it's details before knowing what bur or bit to use to achieve the same natural look. It comes on a handmade swivel bail and will come on the chain style and length of your choice. Picture here is a oxidized rounded box chain. Shell is 1.75" tall from bail to tip of shell and is 1" wide. This is a statement piece that will last forever and will begin many a conversation. I can guarantee it!!!
